REading:
While reading with your child, remember to ask questions. Ask questions, such as, "who are the characters in the story?" "What is the setting?". Also be sure your child is "finger pointing", pointing to each word to be sure not to skip.
Sight words:
practice sight words every night. Make flash cards, write them in sentences, write them several times each, and spell them.
Math:
Practice writing numbers, practice writing and recognizing the number word.
practice counting to 100 every night.
